Excel Baler manufactures two distinct horizontal baler lineups – the EX Series of closed-end single-ram balers and the heavy-duty HV Series built specifically for non-ferrous metals. Seven models total, each engineered for a specific application.
Two Series, Seven Models
The EX Series (EX62, EX63, EX63F, EX66, EX77) are closed-end single-ram horizontal balers for standard recyclable material streams including OCC, paper, plastics, and cans. The HV Series (HV9, HV10) uses two-ram construction in a single-ram body and is purpose-built for non-ferrous metals. These are not interchangeable – match the right series to your material stream before buying.
EX Series – Closed-End Single-Ram Horizontal Balers
Excel 1-2-3 Warranty on all EX Series: one year labor, two years parts, three years structure (USA only). All EX Series models feature full platen penetration, six guided wire tie slots, PLC-controlled operation, NEMA 12 rated enclosures, UL and CUL approval, Hardox 400 wear surfaces, and are available with above-ground or in-ground conveyor for turnkey systems.

Which Model Is Right for Your Operation
Choose EX62 for standard recyclables at lowest entry price. Choose EX63 for standard recyclables with faster 29/21 second cycle – best overall value. Choose EX63F for foam and EPS as primary material alongside standard recyclables. Choose EX66 for heavier duty construction at same cycle speed as EX63. Choose EX77 for maximum EX Series force and light non-ferrous metals. Choose HV9 for moderate non-ferrous metal volumes. Choose HV10 when non-ferrous metals are primary stream and bale density requires the hydraulic pusher bar.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the Excel EX Series and HV Series?
